OSCON was founded on February 12, 1992. The primary objective of OSCON is to focus on the electrical construction industry throughout the Northern Province. This includes large buildings, reticulation, control stations, substations (low and high voltage up to 132 KV), power factor correction (high and low voltage), and emergency power installations (emergency generators and uninterrupted power supplies). In 2009, the directors decided to expand their services by starting their own civil contracting firm, with the goal of providing a turnkey facility for developers in the residential and industrial reticulation sector. The aim is to secure both civil and electrical contract work in the Limpopo Province.
